Support, encourage and increase the growth of trades men and women in the residential remodeling and home building industry. Train for a career in construction.
Criteria
- Preference given to a graduate of the Northshore District high schools.
- Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
- Be committed to and accepted into a two or four-year education and training program tailored to the construction industry.
- Provide evidence of service to others, school or community.
- Include an essay describing in detail the candidate's career ambition/interest in the construction industry.
- Letters of Recommendation will be accepted but not required.
- Candidates will apply using the Foundation's Standard Application form.
Requirements
- The Scholarship Foundation of Northshore will review the initial scholarship applications, selecting entries meeting the criteria.
- The Westhill Executive Team will review the selected entries and interview finalists.
- Recipient will be chosen by the Westhill Executive Team.
- Successful candidate will be notified on or before May 1

About the Sponsor
The scholarship funding is provided by Westhill, Inc. remodeling and custom home builder located in Woodinville. Since 1974, giving back to the community has always been a large part of the Westhill culture. The purpose is to excite and bring future generations to participate in promote and preserve the building industry.
